This place was like going back in the 50s fr. Everything was fresh from the 50s chuckburger to the old school root beer. Best burgers in town for me. Definitely going back 🤗

Cool, old school diner. Served like a diner, but cooked home style. A few dishes remind me of grandmas cooking. The dishes are for the most part, exactly as you’d expect. Decent size portions, but not overwhelming. The true star is their cakes. The chocolate fudge cake everything you want in a rich indulgent treat. Moist and sweet, it’s like eating a hug. The bread that comes with meals is warm and soft, the perfect accompaniment to a cup of soup or to start your meal off. Pot pies are a solid option. Be warned, the pot pies are served in ramekins with a crust only on the top. They are good, but if you want a pot pie with a crust on the bottom, this is not it. On a similar note, the Irish cottage pie is served in a similar fashion, but instead of a a pastry crust top, it has mashed potatoes. Truly, hard to go wrong with anything on the menu.

It’s been a long time since we have been there and stopped for lunch and not very busy at the noon time was a bit concerned about the decision, but our Server was right there and keeping our drinks full and checking in, our food came quickly and the portions were generous, and then you could see the difference, Made in House Food! Real Turkey was the Star of the Meal, good home made gravy and potatoes were great too, but the peas not so good but we were never a fan of peas so they were probably just fine too! And the Sandwich and Fries was as much of a pleasant surprise too, so if you are looking for something in the area, Skip anything Fastfood or Chain Places and have a Great Meal and be inspired to make a great review too!

Stopped in for a burger. We each had a 6 oz burger. They were both cooked to perfection. My partner ordered his medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. I ordered mine well done and it was also cooked perfectly. Their bread is freshly made there along with many pies and cakes. They also serve delicious malts and shakes. We took a Hot Fudge Shake to go. The restaurant was clean and the service was excellent. A definite stop if you’re in the area.

Chris at 50 Grill was excellent! The service was friendly and attentive, and I really appreciated the free bread and butter to start. I ordered the bison burger, and it was fantastic—juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Overall, it was a great dining experience, and I’d definitely come back again.

The atmosphere is absolutely Retro 50’s motif with pictures and signed autographs. Certainly brings you back to an amazing time of the past. The menu is a modern twist on the old school fare. They offer a GF Menu loaded with options for those whom are Celiac like me. We found this establishment very inviting because the servers were so attentive and kind. We will certainly return with great anticipation!

We had 7 people in our party we all had lunch and dessert. Most of us had 8oz burgers which were really good, one had a turkey club, a grilled chicken sandwich, and a pot pie...now the pot pie only had crust on the top of the bowl so if you want a pot pie and you are like me and want a fully crusted pie this is not it. But besides that every thing was really good. They have huge 🍨 and malts and their pies are really good. I was told today they only have pumpkin pie in October...that is something that should change at least have it all fall and winter if it's seasonal, just saying. The 50s vibe there is so fun though. Love the decor and the jukebox the waitresses in poodle skirts. And their service is really good our watress was very nice and did a wonderful job we never wanted for anything. My family and I will definitely keep coming back. Ohhh one more thing we always buy a bag of peanut butter cookies when we leave so good!

Overall experience: this was a lovely place to eat, providing delicious, classic American diner flavors. Arrival: We came at 6:30pm on a Monday, about an hour and a half before close. Only had to wait about 30 seconds before being seated. A lovely charming interior, music playing but not too loud, and really liked the privacy of the booths. Service: We had great service, the wait staff seem to have it down to a science how long to comfortably allow you to study the menu, go between asking how things are, without making it awkward or feeling rushed. Our waitress was Ruby, and she did a fantastic job making us feel welcome. Only negative was that some staff started cleaning for the night, putting chairs up onto tables as we were still eating, about an hour prior to their advertised closing time. This is understandable, but did bring a slight hint of feeling rushed to the environment. Food: We both got burgers - mine the classic 50s Grill Burger with Cheese, my partner the Cajun chicken sandwich. I got the fries, and she got the salad - we also got a raspberry chocolate malt which was excellent. My favorite part of the meal was how “real” everything tasted. Supposedly their hamburger buns are cooked fresh daily, it wasn’t overly greasy, the fries weren’t ultra salty and processed (crinkle cut), and even the malt wasn’t super sweet. It was good, and it tasted like what I would expect a home cooked burger meal to taste like from a professional kitchen, not some McDonald’s slop. Summary: Really enjoyed, maybe a little pricier than I would want to come to ultra regularly, but will definitely be back at some point.

Expensive, but I love the BLT and fries. BLT is approx $12.75, slice of cake $6.95, malt was $6.95, and fish & chips was $16.95. We did get here around 7:10pm, knowing they close at 8pm. Our waitress was very kind and knew the answers to the questions we had. She even sweetly relayed a message to an elderly couple, that someone else had paid their bill! The elderly man was thrilled, and very surprised, and went to tell his wife, who was in a wheelchair. She made their day! We'll be back during the day next time, as our fries seemed cold, but we do love this place! We took the lemon cake slice to go, note, it was all homemade! Enjoy my photos!
